Overview
A cordless brush cutter that does both jobs. Fit the 255mm blade and it clears woody stems and rough growth. Fit the trimming head instead and it cuts a 340mm path in grass. There is no cord and no petrol, which means no extension lead across the compound and no fuel to mix or go stale in a tank.
The brushless motor is the reason a battery machine can do this work at all. Without brushes there is less friction and less heat, so more of the charge goes into cutting, the runtime from a pack is longer, and the motor itself lasts longer than a brushed one doing the same job. The shaft splits for storage and transport, which matters on a machine of this length, and the adjustable bull horn handles with a padded shoulder strap spread the load across your shoulders the way a petrol cutter does.

Is the battery included?
No. The battery and charger are excluded, so budget for a pack and a charger unless you already have 18V batteries.
How long does a charge last?
It depends on the work. Cutting heavy growth with the blade uses a pack much faster than trimming grass with line, so many people keep a second pack charged.
