Overview
A petrol line trimmer for ground with no socket anywhere near it. Roadside verges, the far end of a shamba, a plot boundary, a church or school ground, or simply a compound big enough that dragging a cord around it has stopped being reasonable.
The 30cc air cooled two stroke is built for endurance rather than speed, and electronic ignition takes most of the effort out of starting. It cuts a 360mm path on 2mm line, wider than any of the electric trimmers here, and the automatic dispensing system releases more line with a single tap on the ground. A diaphragm carburettor lets the machine run at an angle, which matters when you are cutting a bank or reaching under a hedge with the head tipped over. The D shaped handle rotates to suit the operator and a shoulder strap carries the 3.8kg.

Questions and answers
What is the fuel mix?
Unleaded petrol with two stroke oil at 40 to 1. Mix it fresh and drain the tank if the machine will stand for a long time.
Can I fit a steel blade to it?
It is supplied as a line trimmer with a bump head for 2mm line. For woody stems and scrub you want a brush cutter instead.
