A circular saw with no lead is a different tool on a roof, on a scaffold or out at a fence line. There is nothing to trip over, nothing to keep clear of the blade, and no waiting for a generator or a socket. For a carpenter cutting battens on a roof or a fundi cutting formwork in a compound with no power on yet, that is the whole point.

Brushless means the motor has no carbon brushes wearing down inside it. The electronics switch the windings instead, which gives more cutting work per charge, less heat, and no brushes to replace as the tool ages. It matters most on a cordless saw, where every watt wasted as heat is a watt taken out of the battery. The blade is 185mm on a 20mm bore, the same size as a mains circular saw, and it cuts 62mm deep at 90 degrees, so a 50mm timber goes through in one pass. The base is aluminium rather than pressed steel, which stays flat and slides cleanly over the work, and it tilts for 45 degree bevel cuts. A large front handle gives the second hand somewhere firm to hold. At 1.4kg the saw is light enough to use at arm's length.
