18V Cordless Work Torch, 100 Lumens, 1W LED, 90 Degree Head

This is the torch that lives in the tool box next to the drill and runs on the same battery. Looking into a distribution board, under a sink, behind a machine, into a ceiling void, under a vehicle bonnet or into a water tank. Anywhere the work is in shadow and both the job and the light have to be held at the same time.

Being part of an 18V cordless range is the practical point. There are no torch batteries to go flat in a drawer and no AA cells to hunt for at seven in the morning, because the pack that runs your drill runs the torch. The head pivots through 90 degrees, so the beam can be pointed up at a ceiling or down into a hole while the body sits flat, and a retractable hanging hook lets it hang off a pipe, a bracket or a shelf edge for hands free work. The LED is a 1 Watt SMD2835 giving 100 lumens, which is a directed working beam for close work rather than a floodlight. The torch itself weighs 0.23kg without a pack, so it adds almost nothing to a tool bag.
