Overview
A plain, heavy bench grinder for sharpening and shaping. Chisels, drill bits, axes, scissors, knives and lawnmower blades all come back to an edge on it, and it takes the burr off anything you have cut with a grinder or a hacksaw.
The weight is the point. At 9kg this machine sits still and the wheel does not wander when you present a tool to it, which is what makes an even edge possible. Two wheels are fitted, one coarse for taking metal off quickly and one fine for finishing. The tool rests are solid and fully adjustable, so you set the angle once and reproduce it on every blade instead of guessing each time.

Why is it slower than an angle grinder?
