Overview
Eighty millimetre ports make this the pump for volume. Six hundred litres a minute is the flow you want for irrigating a larger shamba, emptying a flooded plot after heavy rain, filling a big storage tank quickly, or drawing from a river to a field over a distance. The wider port is what lets that volume through without the pump fighting the pipe.
The engine is the same 6.5 horsepower four stroke used on the 50mm pump, air cooled, recoil pull started, with a 3.6 litre tank. What changes is the pump end. Bigger ports and a bigger impeller move more water per turn, so the head goes to 30 metres and the flow to 600 litres a minute. Four stroke running means plain petrol and oil in the sump with no mixing, which is simpler for anyone who lends the machine out, and it is quieter and cleaner than a two stroke of the same size. The pump is self-priming, there is a drain plug for emptying the casing before storage or transport, and the frame is built to be dragged, lifted and thrown on a pick up. It weighs 29.5kg.

How much water does it move?
Up to 600 litres a minute at maximum, with a head of up to 30 metres. Long pipe runs and high lifts reduce the flow you see.
What size hose does it need?
80mm on both the suction and the discharge side. Using a narrower hose will cut the output well below the rated flow.
