Floor Nozzle, Spare for SV-12 Wet & Dry Vacuum

The floor tool is the head that spends its life being dragged across concrete, tiles, timber and steel, so it is the accessory that wears out or goes missing first. A vacuum without one is still a vacuum, but you end up cleaning a whole floor through a crevice tool, which takes four times as long and pulls the hose out of your hand at every step.

This is the spare floor nozzle for the SV-12, the 12 litre machine in the same range. A wide head is what makes floor work quick, because it covers a strip in one pass and keeps the opening flat against the surface, so the air speed stays where the dirt is. On a workshop floor it lifts sawdust, grit, chippings and swarf, and on a wet pick up it takes standing water off concrete or tiles faster than a mop and bucket. Nozzles crack when a machine is pulled over on its hose, and the edge that runs on the floor wears thin over time, particularly on rough concrete. Replacing the head is a great deal cheaper than replacing the machine or putting up with a broken one.
