Twisted 2.0mm x 8m Trimming Line, 5 Pack

Forty metres of twisted 2.0mm line, in five sealed loops of eight metres. It is the bulk buy for the heavier twisted gauge, aimed at people cutting thick stemmed grass on a regular schedule rather than tidying a lawn now and then.

Two millimetre gives the line enough mass to stay straight in dense growth, and the twisted profile puts edges along it so the stems are cut instead of beaten flat. The same shape makes the machine quieter, which is a real benefit when the job takes hours or when the trimming happens close to houses. Sealed loops also store better than an opened roll, since each one stays clean and out of the light until it is needed. Check that your machine is rated for 2mm before buying five of them, because fitting heavier line than a head is designed for is hard on the motor.
