Overview
A light cordless drill for assembly and general work around a house, an office or a duka: putting up shelves and curtain rails, assembling furniture, fixing hinges and handles, drilling pilot holes and driving screws without stripping the heads off them.
The clutch is what makes this a screwdriver rather than only a drill. Twenty one settings plus a drill position let you set how much torque goes through before the clutch slips, so a screw goes in flush into chipboard instead of pulling through it. Torque tops out at 12Nm and the speed runs up to 700 min-1, which is the right pairing for driving rather than for boring large holes. The chuck is keyless and takes bits up to 10mm. An LED lights the work, a belt hook keeps it on you while you climb a ladder, and it weighs 1.0kg, which is the figure that matters when you are working above your head. Battery and charger are included.

Questions and answers
Does it come with a battery?
Yes. The battery and charger are included. A full charge takes 3 to 5 hours, so a second battery is useful if you use the drill every day.
Will it drill into a wall?
Not into concrete or block. It has no hammer action. It is for timber, board and light steel up to 8mm. For masonry use an impact drill or a rotary hammer.
