1500W Circular Saw, 185mm Blade, 5500rpm, 62mm Cut Depth

A circular saw is the fastest way to put a straight cut through a sheet or a plank. Ripping plywood and chipboard down to size, cutting roof sheeting battens, trimming a door bottom, breaking down formwork timber, cutting shuttering ply on site. Set the depth, follow a line or a clamped straight edge, and the cut is done in one pass.

Sixty two millimetres of depth at 90 degrees means this saw goes through a 50mm timber in one pass with depth to spare, which is what most framing and formwork needs. The 1 500 Watt motor turns a 185mm blade at 5 500 revolutions a minute, and a 24 tooth carbide tipped blade comes fitted, which is the tooth count for fast cutting in construction timber and sheet. The base tilts for bevel cuts from zero to 45 degrees and the depth sets against a scale, so the blade can be run just proud of the material instead of hanging out underneath it. There are shaped handles front and rear for two handed control, a chip ejection port that throws the sawdust clear of the line, and a spindle lock that holds the arbor while you change the blade with the spanner.
