Overview
A rotary hammer for concrete: anchor holes, through holes for conduit and pipe, and chipping work. The SDS-plus bit pushes in and locks by hand, so there is no chuck to tighten and nothing to slip halfway through a hole.
Impact energy is what does the work in concrete, and 6.5 joules is a serious figure for an SDS-plus machine. The hammer breaks the material and the rotation clears it, which is why a 32mm hole takes seconds rather than minutes and why your arms are not doing the breaking. Four functions cover rotary hammering, hammering only, drilling only and vario-lock, which sets the chisel at the angle you want and holds it there. The speed selector lets you match the machine to the chipping job in front of you. An anti-vibration system and soft grip take some of the punishment out of a long session, and the auxiliary handle turns through 360 degrees. It weighs 5.0kg.

Questions and answers
What bits does it take?
SDS-plus bits only. They push in and lock by hand. Ordinary round shank masonry bits will not fit the tool holder.
Can it be used for chiselling?
Yes. It has a hammer only mode and a vario-lock setting that holds the chisel at the angle you choose. It suits light breaking such as tiles and chases.
