Overview
A cordless drill with a hammer action, so it handles block and light masonry as well as timber, board and steel. For a fundi moving through a building it saves running an extension cable to every room, and for a household it covers both putting up a shelf and drilling the wall to fix it.
The impact mechanism is built in and adds a rapid hammering to the rotation, which is what carries a masonry bit into block. Torque is 40Nm, roughly double the plain driver drill, which shows on long screws in hardwood and on larger bits. The 21+1 settings let you dial the clutch back for delicate work and open it up for heavy driving. Two speed ranges, 0 to 400 min-1 and 0 to 1 500 min-1, split the work between driving and drilling. The chuck takes bits to 13mm, there is an LED work light, and the tool weighs 1.2kg without a battery.

Questions and answers
Does it drill into walls?
Into block and light masonry, yes, using the impact action with a masonry bit. For structural concrete an SDS-plus rotary hammer works much faster.
Is a battery included?
No. This version excludes the battery and charger. The kit version of the same drill comes with one battery and a charger.
