18V Cordless Pole Pruner and Hedger, 1.86m Reach, 2 in 1

This is the tool for what is above your head. Overhanging branches on a plot boundary, a hedge grown taller than a stepladder is safe on, tree limbs over a roof or a driveway, and the tops of shrubs you cannot reach from the ground. Two heads fit the same powered shaft, so one machine does pruning and hedge cutting.

The shaft is telescopic and extends to 1.86 metres, which with your own reach puts the head well up into a tree. The cutting heads adjust for angle, so you can set the blade to meet the branch squarely instead of sawing at it sideways. As a pole pruner it runs a 200mm guide bar with tool free chain tensioning, which matters because a chain slackens as it warms and you do not want to be hunting for a spanner up a ladder. As a pole hedger it has a 410mm cutting length with dual action laser cut blades and takes growth up to 16mm. Working from the ground with a pole is safer than working from a ladder with a hand tool.
