18V Cordless Pruner and Hedge Shear, 200mm, Tool Free Blades

A one-handed shear for the tidying work that a full size hedge trimmer is too big and too heavy for: the edges of a lawn where the mower cannot reach, the low box hedge along a path, the shrubs by the gate, and the grass around a tree or a fence post. It is the tool you pick up for twenty minutes rather than the one you plan a morning around.

Two blades come with it and they swap without tools, so the same body works as a grass pruner and as a shrub shear. Change the head and you go from edging a lawn to shaping a small hedge in a few seconds. The blades are precision sharpened, which is what gives a clean cut on soft green growth rather than the bruised, torn ends that blunt shears leave behind. Those torn ends are what turn brown a week later. The gearbox is sealed, so dust and grass clippings stay out of it. At well under a kilogram it works comfortably in one hand.
