Overview
A heat gun for stripping old paint, drying paint and varnish, bending plastic pipe, softening adhesive and shrinking heat shrink sleeve over cable joints.
Two settings rather than one matter because the right temperature depends on the job. Four hundred and fifty degrees with a gentler airflow is for drying and for shrink sleeve. Six hundred degrees at full flow is for lifting stubborn paint. Thermal overload protection shuts the element down before it cooks itself.

What temperature does it reach?
Two settings: 450°C with 300 litres a minute of air, and 600°C with 500 litres a minute.
Can I use it to shrink cable sleeve?
Yes. Use the lower setting and keep the gun moving so the sleeve shrinks evenly.
