Overview
A petrol chainsaw for work away from power: felling and cross cutting on a shamba, clearing after a storm, cutting firewood in quantity, and sizing timber on a site with no supply. Nothing ties you to a socket, so the saw goes where the tree is.
The 45cc engine is a working size rather than a homeowner size. It gives a 455mm cutting length on a 545mm bar, which takes a trunk of useful diameter in a single pass. A primer bulb pushes fuel through before you pull, which is what stops the long starting fight on a cold engine. The chain brake is inertia activated, so it trips on kickback without you moving your hand. Chain oiling is automatic. The tank holds 580ml and the fuel is mixed 25 parts petrol to one part two stroke oil.

What fuel mix does it take?
Petrol mixed with two stroke oil at 25:1. Measure it with a mixing bottle and make up only as much as you will use within a few days.
Is the chain brake automatic?
Yes. It is inertia activated, so it trips by itself if the bar kicks back. You can also engage it by hand with the front guard.
