Hydraulic Exterior Door Closer, 45kg, Ivory, Adjustable Speed

The same hydraulic exterior closer as the brown model, finished in ivory for painted and light coloured doors and frames. It is fitted to house entrances, office fronts, shop doors and compound doors, where a door left standing open is a security problem and a door slamming in the wind eventually destroys the frame.

The unit is surface mounted, which means it screws onto the face of the door and the frame. No routing into the leaf, no specialist fitting, and it goes onto a door that is already hung. The closing speed is adjustable, so you can set the door to come back firmly enough to latch against a breeze while still giving people time to walk through with their hands full. It is rated to 45kg of door weight and belongs to a range covering 35kg to 80kg, which includes hollow core, solid wood, glass, aluminium, extra large and pivot doors. The unit measures 33.3 x 20.2 x 7cm and weighs 1.5kg.
