Overview
Fifty metres is the range at which a laser stops being a convenience and starts doing things a tape cannot. A boundary wall, the length of a warehouse, the run of a shop front, the distance across a plot: these are measurements where a tape sags, snakes and needs a second person at the far end, and where a laser gives you one number in a second while you stand still.
The way you use it is the same as the shorter models. You stand at one end, aim the dot at the far surface, press the button and read the figure. The gain at this range is that you can measure across an open space, over an obstruction, or along a wall with furniture against it, none of which a tape handles well on its own. For anybody quoting fencing, roofing, external painting or a site layout, it removes the part of the job that takes two people and a good deal of walking back and forth.

Questions and answers
How far will it measure?
Up to 50 metres, which covers a building elevation, a boundary wall or the length of a warehouse in one reading.
Can I use it outdoors?
It works outdoors, but the red dot is hard to see in bright sun at long range. Measuring in shade or early in the day is easier.
How do I order and receive it?
Place your order online and we will call you to confirm the item, the price and the delivery. You can collect it from our shop on Moi Avenue in Nairobi CBD or we can send it by courier.
Not sure if this is the right one?
Call or email us and tell us what you keep and how many. We will say whether this one fits your farm or point you to a better size. You are also welcome to come and see it in our Nairobi CBD shop.
