Laser Liner Level, 20m Point, 5m Line, Magnetic Base

A small laser liner does the everyday levelling jobs: a shelf, a row of pictures, a curtain rail, a line of fixings along a wall, or a plumb drop for a downpipe. It is the tool that lives in a bag and comes out for twenty minutes, rather than the one you set up on a tripod for a morning's work.

The magnetic base is what makes this version useful on site. It sticks straight onto a steel stud, a door frame, a gate post, a beam or a shelf bracket, which leaves both hands free and means you are not holding the laser and the work at once. Two built-in bubble vials let you set it by eye quickly for horizontal, vertical or angled runs, and accuracy is quoted at 1mm per metre. The point range reaches 20 metres and the line range 5 metres. There is also a mounting accessory for a wall or for a compact tripod with a quarter inch thread, so it fits a standard stand.
