Wood Working Centre, 1700mm Stance, 760mm Work Height

This is a bench that goes to the job. A carpenter fitting doors and windows, a shopfitter working on site, or anyone cutting timber away from a workshop needs somewhere to put the work, and the alternative is usually two trestles and a plank. A working centre gives a proper height, a vice, roller supports and somewhere to put the tools, and it folds down and wheels away afterwards.

The work height is 760mm, which is a standard bench height for cutting and assembly standing up. The table extends from 1 700 to 2 900mm and the extensions support work pieces of 405mm, while the two material roller supports with flip stops carry timber up to 4.8 metres long, which is where the real value is because long stock is what nobody can hold on their own. The flip stops let you cut a batch of pieces the same length without measuring each one. A large quick mount vice holds the work, a quick mount tool attachment feature takes tools on the bench, and a two outlet power centre puts sockets where you are working. A 200mm wheel moves it and a work light is included.
